Colin worked for 31 years in the Electricity Supply Industry, latterly as
a Company Safety and Training Manager. Since forming Seal Safety & Training, Colin has applied his health and safety
experience to many different types of business.
As a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, and a Chartered
Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, Colin is a firm supporter of continued professional development.
Like all Seal Safety Consultants, Colin ensures that his knowledge and skills are kept fully up to date.
Barry Drew I Eng. FIET
Barry's background and experience is very similar to Colin's.
In fact, Barry and Colin worked togther running the Technical Training Centre for a leading Electricity Company. As
a senior Safety Engineer in the electricity industry, Barry has also applied his skills and experience in a wide
variety of health and safety situations. Barry is an expert in the safe operation of electrical systems, and in
the health and safety issues faced by industrial and commercial businesses. His particular skill is developing
and delivering effective training courses tailored exactly to the client's requirements.

As for our other Consultants, David worked for many years in a leading Electricity
Company, ending as their Health, Safety and Environment Manager. He is fully familiar with all aspects of health and
safety and has had long experience of all manner of industrial and commercial risks.
David's particular skill
is being able to translate legal requirements into an easily understood format, and to produce simple, practical guidance
for practical people.

Alan Howitt MA MIOSH RSP MIIRSM AIEMA
Alan is another experienced Engineer and Safety Manager with long
service in the electricity industry. He started as a Plant Operator in a large power station, and progressed through
the ranks to become a Group Safety Manager for a major power generation Company.
Alan is an expert in managing safety in high-risk industrial
businesses, so if your business involves pressure systems, large rotating plant, high temperatures and heavy equipment,
